Scope and ContentWatercolour paintings and accompanying MS text by Daniel Grose showing both faces of a twelfth-century cross head used in the reconstruction of the market cross, Tuam, in the 1870s. On one face, described by Roger Stalley as 'an outstanding piece of Romanesque sculpture', is the crucified Christ, while on the other is a figure identified by Grose as St Jarlath, the found of Tuam monastery.
