Scope and ContentWatercolour paintings and accompanying MS text by Daniel Grose showing the cathedral church at Tuam before the addition of the Gothic Revival church in 1861-63. The side view show the porch-like remains of the twelfth-century Romanesque church, the early fourteenth-century Gothic Choir now know as the Synod Hall, and the fifteenth-century oblong-planned tower removed during in the 1861-63 works. The second view shows the twelfth-century Hiberno-Romanesque doorway.
